A star-studded benefit concert, FireAid, is set to take place in Los Angeles on Thursday, Jan. 30, aiming to support communities affected by recent wildfires. The event will be hosted across two venues, Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum, and will feature an impressive lineup of performers including Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Stevie Nicks, and Green Day. The concert will also be streamed live to reach a global audience.
Proceeds from FireAid, along with direct donations, will be managed by the Annenberg Foundation to fund immediate relief efforts and long-term fire prevention initiatives across Southern California. The event organizers have noted that the foundation’s 501(c)(3) status is currently pending.
The full lineup boasts a variety of celebrated artists such as Dave Matthews, John Mayer, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gwen Stefani, Joni Mitchell, Katy Perry, Lil Baby, Pink, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Sting, and Tate McRae, among others. Singer-songwriter Finneas will also join his sister Billie Eilish on stage for a special performance.
Tickets for FireAid are set to go on sale starting Wednesday, Jan. 22. In addition to live attendance, fans will be able to watch the concert through select AMC Theatres and popular streaming platforms including YouTube, Netflix, and the Apple TV app.
Musician John Mayer, performing alongside Dave Matthews for the first time at this event, shared his excitement on social media, describing the opportunity to support wildfire relief efforts as a profound honor. Pop sensation Tate McRae also expressed her gratitude, reflecting on her journey from Canada to Los Angeles and her admiration for the resilience and generosity of the community. “I’m so inspired to be part of this incredible group of artists coming together for such an important cause,” she wrote.
FireAid’s timing aligns closely with the 67th annual Grammy Awards, scheduled to air on Feb. 2. The Grammys, too, have shifted focus toward raising awareness and funds for wildfire recovery, highlighting the music industry’s collective commitment to helping affected communities rebuild.
The event promises an unforgettable night of music and solidarity, uniting artists and audiences alike in support of those impacted by wildfires and the first responders who worked tirelessly to protect lives and homes.
